Does anyone have a "more clever" way of handling Comment Lines / Memo Lines / Note Lines on Sales Orders in Acumatica?
You can add a note to a Sales Order Line using the Note icon:
But sometimes there is a need to add separate Comment/Memo notes to the Sales Order because there are multiple separate notes for the Sales Order, because you want to add "spacer" lines in between Sales Order Lines, because you want to mimic what you were doing in your old system to reduce the amount of change that people have to deal with, etc.
My method is to create a Non-Stock Item called COMMENT or MEMO, then modify the Sales Order report so that, if Inventory ID equals COMMENT, MEMO, etc., only print the Line Description field and don't print UOM, Unit Price, etc.
You can also define multiple Non-Stock Items (eg. COMMENT and COMMENTHIDE) so that COMMENT lines print, but COMMENTHIDE lines do not print.
Does anyone have a more elegant way of doing this?

Did you every hear back on this ? Do you know of any solutions ? Service Management has a comment lien by Sales Orders do not.
Acumatica Needs a more improved comment line that doesn't require billing etc.
