Questions Restrict GL accounts to a particular branch AND certain sub accounts

Does anyone know if it is possible to restrict certain GL accounts to a particular branch AND to a particular set of sub accounts.  It seems that by using restriction groups you can restrict to one or the other, but the system gets confused when trying to do both.  I guess it would have something to do with the same group name being used in both the GL Accounts by Branch Access screen, and the GL Account Access (Accounts / Subaccounts) screen, as unticking an account in one screen, will untick that account when viewing from the other screen.
