I would like to be able to set a promotional price that will apply to all price codes.
Currently it seems that the promotion needs to be created at each level of specificity. So If an item has 1 price at the price class level, then another 5 customers have customer-specific pricing, i would need to create a promotion for each of the above 6 scenarios.
It would be much easier to have one promotion price that simply overrides all.
Any advice? Am i misunderstanding how promotions work in Acuamtica?
Standard Acumatica pricing hierarchy is as follows:
As you can see, promotional pricing takes priority, but only by the price type. You would need a customization to make a promotional price the overriding priority regardless of price type.
