Is there a way for a user to add a discount percentage on the fly which will apply to an entire sales order document?
From what i see only predefined Discount codes are documented in the help files. These are not editable on the document level so we would need to create a discount code/sequence for every decimal number from 0-100 to give SalesPersons all the options. This does not sounds right...

yup, that is what we do now. Thanks for the suggestion.
There are a few inconveniences with this approach:
The percentage needs to be calculated manually.
Is the sales order changes, user needs to calculate again.
it is complicated when there is an additional auto applied discount.
