I am having issues Creating Shipments and the culprit seems to always be this inventory location.
It appears to be used for calculating but sometimes becomes stuck. How can I clear this?
I ran "Validate Inventory" and it did not help.

As far as I know, most of the time you will find the SO Booked values in the <UNASSIGNED> row. That's because most people specify the Warehouse that they want on a Sales Order, but they don't click the ALLOCATIONS button to specify which Bin Location they want it to come from because they don't care.
But the <UNASSIGNED> location shouldn't affect your shipping process. How exactly is it becoming stuck?

Thanks for the answer. I agree with you. We were trying to create shipments and allow inventory to drive negative. It seemed that the only time it wouldn't work was when the <Unassigned> number was showing and usually large.
Anyway we figured out that we needed to omit a specific location that was throwing off our inventory numbers and now all shipments are being created and inventory is driving negative as we thought we had originally configured.
Glad you were able to figure it out. Just curious, did it have anything to do with the Include in Qty. Available field on the Warehouse Bin Location?
That was it. We have a location called pallet which is a temporary location for items picked to pallets waiting to pickup/confirm.
