We appear to have hit a design limitation of Acumatica that Historical Inventory Valuation cannot be performed at Lot Nbr level. The Historical Inventory Valuation report displays blanks for Lot Nbr if the Lot Nbr currently has no stock (ie Qty = 0). This doesn't make a lot of sense for a 'Historical' report as it shouldn't matter what the current stock levels are when you are reporting on a historical period.ย
Has anyone else hit this limitation? I am thinking of some snapshot process which downloads current stock daily and merges it with a cloud hosted database which could then be reported via Power BI. But to be honest, building and maintaining something like this is not exactly trivial.
Edit: appears i am not the only one with this issue:

Wow, sounds like a bug to me. You mean that, even if the Lot had a balance in that historical period, it doesn't appear unless it currently has a balance?
Correct! I have reported it to our partner but i don't fancy the chances of it filtering through to Acumatica.
Response from MYOB: this is not a bug and create an idea on the ideas portal.
There was already an idea, but it's over 4 years old so i don't see this going anywhere:

That's a bummer ๐
