Currently our Vendor access is limited to our accounts department as by default Vendors page includes open balance and also on Activities page all EFT remittances are shown. I would like to give some other users View Only access to Vendor data but not without hiding all financial or payment information.
It's easy to remove the open balance information via User Security but the Activities tab (Data Class CRPMTimeActivity) does not appear in the security. How then can I revoke access so that this tab does not appear for some users?
These are all the data classes I see under Vendors (Suppliers in our system):
None of these belongs to the Activities tab (Data Class CRPMTimeActivity)
Hmmm, this one has me stumped. I removed all security except for these two fields:
And yet the user still has access to the Activities tab!
So it must be defined somewhere else. I'm just not sure where.
Really weird. This is not the first time i've found things on pages which can't be restricted via Security.
