Hello,
Reading the ACU documentation and it's not abundantly clear...
When you publish a Customization, do you need to have the Role of "Customizer" assigned to a user in order for them to access the screens it has created or edited?
and/or is this embedded in the Access Rights portion of the customization?

Customizer is required to publish. Access rights in the target tenant are controlled by user security in that tenant - they do not need Customizer role.
If you include access rights properties in your project then those would get published to the destination tenant along with your other changes.
