I am looking for some assistance in finding a solution for my company to track who has a unit that they are working on or testing internally. We have QA and R&D departments and the owners would like to track where the units are and who has them within the company. Has anyone come across this need with your companies or clients?

if the item is serial traceable, you could potentially use warehouse buildings, each of the areas are warehouses within that building, you use the transfer option to move the stock around the warehouses, if they belong to the same building, you can use one step transfers. if you have the WMS app you can use scan and transfer
