I have seen quite a few posts about workflows and this just might be a lack of experience on workflows and customisations. I wanted to see if it is possible to send and open Sales order to be created into a Production order instantly. I have tried an attempt in changing the workflow to allow for this and it seemed to work. However an issue arose where a PO would be constantly created as the SO was opened leading to 100s of redundant PO. Is it possible to limit this and how?

Can anyone suggest a way that I can stop the constant generations of PO from an open SO? Or a better suggestion on how to automate the process of creating PO from SO?

I have attached an image of the edit that was made I have currently not have the CreateProductionOrder active.

Workflow
