Nice Rick. Maybe you can resell your customization to Taylan 🙂
Rick,
Thanks for the suggestion. I may try it later.
Tim,
I have upgraded to 2017 R2, and was creating an import scenario today, which includes Shipments screen, but I got the same error saying that "This form cannot be automated. Request is not available in this context"
I feel like there is something wrong with one of the settings somewhere or a corruption in database. When I click save, then I get the following error message,
"Error: 'GraphName' cannot be empty."
Do you have a customization in place on the Shipments screen?
Hi Tim,
I there a way to automate printing of shipment confirmation after confirming a shipment?
I am trying to do it this way, but it's not working for me
Maybe check the Conditions tab.
Uday,
Do you want it to print to the screen automatically? Print to a printer automatically? Email automatically?
Hi Everyone,
Looks like Process Shipment screen can automate shipment confirmations via Email Shipment action. Out-of-box, this is configured to work with Confirmed shipments under Automation Steps.
I added the Email Shipment action and notification to the Completed step as below:
Flow:
With adding the Email Shipment action to the Completed step, this action stops working all together from the Shipments screen or from the Process Shipments screen. How can I get this action to work with Completed shipments ?
Additionally, I tried creating a business event. It works fine for smaller data set. But my client is an ecommerce business and their processes rely totally on mass processing screens. For large data set, when Shipments are completed through the Process Shipments screen using the Prepare Invoices action, the business event seems to fail when larger number of shipments are converted to invoices. I think we tried up to 20 or 30 shipments in one go and it randomly fail push notifications generated by the business event.
Looking for some help with this.
Thanks!
