Acumatica OData with Microsoft Excel and Power BI

I just tried to use the same Acumatica odata feed credentials and info to connect my Acumatica instance to the Appsheet product in Google. My intent was to try to donwload GI data into a Google Sheet so I can periodically update the data and use it to drive Google Sheet work.
On the positive: it can connect when I test it (yeah!). I did this by adding a new Source (odata) in appsheet.
On the negative: when I try to import any data from one of the GIs that are exposed i get an error.
Has anyone been able to get this to work successfully, and if so, how?
