Hi,
I have created a GI to check for any duplicated order entry, which basically looks for SOOrder.CustomerOrderNbr and sums the occurrence. I know I can view the GI and easily filter where "Duplicated" (the caption of the field) is greater than 1, and see only the duplicated orders. However, I would like results to show up already filtered, so that I can place this GI on a dashboard, but, since my "Duplicated" column is actually not a field but a formula (see attached, the formula is =CInt(1)), I cannot use it as a condition.

Any idea whether this is even possible?

Thank you.

What about saving a filter on the GI using this icon:

Make sure you make it a Shared Filter like this:

Then use the Shared Filter in the Dashboard KPI:

Tim,

It worked. Sometimes, it is surprising to realize how we forget the simple solutions and look for complicated ones.

Thank you.

I hear ya. I do the same thing. Learning the ERP building blocks is easy, but putting those building blocks together in creative ways is hard, even though the solution might be right in front of you.

That's why I like forums and blogs. I learn a lot from others, from having a second, third, fourth, etc. pair of eyes.
