hi, i have to create filters for users (vs the users creating them) and would like to only have certain users see them. Is this possible?
is there better way to do this?

Everything I'm seeing says Shared Filters apply to all users. I couldn't find any way to restrict them.
You could add a widget with the filters you need to a Dashboard they all share. That would take them to a "Drilldown" of the information. Not the best solution, but it would prevent you from creating the filters over and over.
You can also save those "Drilldowns" as a new filter. So, if you needed more permanence, you could Log In as the user from the Users screen to save them or send something out with instructions on how to save it.
@agarcia That's a great idea! Then you could control access to the Dashboard with security so only certain users can see it.

Thanks for the response. We aren't quite using dashboards yet (still new to Acumatica) but that could be an option in the future.
