I recently created my first shared pivot table, but none of the other users of our acumatica are able to see it, even though it is shared. Do they have to do something to see a newly shared pivot table?

Only mentioning this because I know that you're in the course.
Take a look at the Saved Filters (8:53) lesson in the course where this is covered. Even though it's talking about filters, it's also applicable to Pivot Tables as mentioned in the Creating Your First Pivot Table (8:39) lesson.

Make sure the users have permission to both the GI and Pivot table.
