We have comments (static notes) in our current system (non-Acumatica) and we're looking how to implement this in Acumatica.
Basically we have notes for customers such as "Do not ship XYZ company" or customer specific instructions that are the same every time.
So every time Customer A comes up we automatically want the notes to populate the sales order with those. I'm still pretty new to Acumatica but have done a few basic customizations.
Possibly you can do this with an Attribute and a value. Hope this helps.

Track L - the easiest way to transfer status notes to ACU is to dump it in excel or CSV from your old ERP and import it with an import scenario - simple and quick process; and you can add status notes in any data profile or record by adding a note to the record and/or toggle it as a pop-I’m up note or not.
Hi Travis
An alternative to the above is to use Pop Up Notes and Business Events. Neither of these approaches require programming.

Use Import Scenarios to data migrate the notes to the Customer Pop Up Notes

The Pop Up note will Pop up when the customer is entered on the Sales Order. Whilst it will not populate the Sales Order Notes, it will alert the user. Use a Business Event to copy the Note from the Customer Pop Up Note to the Sales Order (Description or Notes or attribute)
