Sue,
You might try the "double slash" trick that is discussed at the bottom of this post:
Hi Tim
Brilliant! It worked, thank you. I logged on to the Azure portal and put in the extra 'slash' for the redirect URL as you suggested.
Thank you again.
Sue
Hi Tim
I managed to configure the redirect URL, as you suggested (thank you), and was able to sign in and load the Power BI reports into Acumatica. One thing I noticed though, was that although I used the App name in the registration, all my reports (and only the reports) from "My workspace" were loaded onto Acumatica. I thought it would only be the app, or any reports or dashboards in the App workspace, that would come through. Is there something I am missing here?
I have also tried to embed a Power BI tile in Acumatica, however, when signing in on the Widget Properties screen, I get the 'familiar' redirect URL error message, even though I was successful in signing in on the External Applications Screen.
Sue
Looks like you are missing a . before com in the Redirect URL field.
Hi Tim
The URL I entered was correct (there is a .). I am able to sign in with it on the External Application screen in Acumatica, but when I try to add a Power Bi tile, using the client ID and secret ID, I get the "redirect URL" error.
I have also tried to sign in directly from the dashboard screen, without going to the External Application screen, but that didn't work either.
Sorry, looks like I didn't go to page 2 when I responded. My bad.
I haven't used the Power BI Tile in a while. Personally, I like the Power BI reports a lot better for a number of reasons.
