I've been trying to do comparative sales numbers as a dashboard. For example, the customer has 10 revenue classes and would like to see a dashboard item showing the revenue by class over 3 or 4 years. I have this information in a pivot table, but they want to see it as a graph.  Easily done?

What about something like this where the different colors would represent the different revenue classes and the bottom would show years rather than months.

Hovering would show you the name of the revenue class. You could also click the icon in the lower-right to see the legend or display the legend although that might make things a little too cluttered.

Not quite that in the format that you were showing.  The comparative

is more like the pivot table results where the same period is being reported so August 2017 and 2016 numbers would be showing for the 5 different branches.

You could just embed the pivot table. Would that work?

Or do you really want it to be some kind of chart? I think charts get tricky when you have so many dimensions. Pivot Tables really handle multiple dimensions best in my opinion.

The pivot table is one site map, but the users were looking for a graph. I agree about the pivot tables handling information better.
