When I'm totaling a section of my Profit and Loss statement, I want to put a line above the total number like you would expect to see before any total calculation.
Does anyone know if this is possible to do in the Acumatica Financial Report Writer ARM (Analytical Report Manager) application?

Yes, you can do this in the Row Set.
Your total row should have Total selected in the Type column.
Just put in a row directly above your total row. In this row put Line in the Type column. Then, further over to the right, chose which line style you would like in the Line Style column (most likely Solid).
And that's it. That should get you the line that you're looking for.
