We're having difficulty setting up cycle counting in a sustainable/automated manner. What we've been advised to do is to create multiple Cycle IDs (we currently have a total of 30) and then we have to manually add new products across these 30 Cycle IDs. Finally, our warehouse has to rotate between all 30 Cycle IDs everyday when they perform the cycle counts. The one upside to this method is we get through every product in the warehouse every 30 business days and it seems to keep the counts manageable (at or below 200 products to count per day).
Is it possible to create a single "cycle count" Cycle ID that is assigned to every product that effectively does all the above? As some additional context, we have over 50,000 stock items (though many are discontinued at this point, or are special order/non-stocking items) and we currently have around 4,000 physical locations in our warehouse.
Or is there a better way to manage cycle counting for this number of items/locations in Acumatica that would reduce the number of manual steps?
