Hi all - I think this may be an easy one (maybe not) ... I hit a snag, so wanted to see if anyone may be working / have worked through this. If so, ping me or reply and let me know if you have any ideas / willing to collaborate.
Cost Budget (Projects): What is the best way to uncover (and perhaps customize) the Cost Budget columns?
Uncover - Where can I most easily reveal how the columns in the Cost Budget are calculated?
Customize - What amount of customization (edit existing and/or add new) of columns is possible? ... would the be a customization project?
Reason for asking:
- Project Cost to Complete / Project Cost at Completion --> I'm considering having these columns pull in from the "Cost Projection" screen/tool
- Actual Cost --> This column does not currently include costs from PO Receipt that are flowing through Inventory that are not yet IN Issued to the Project ... and for purposes of revenue recognition via over/under billing, I need account for this cost.
... Actual Cost does not include the received material in Inventory, even when it is captured as a Committed Invoice Amount ... and I can't simply ADD "Committed Invoice Amount" + "Actual Cost" as that would be double-counting in many cases.
