So I have a client that wants to know if the Acumatica can alert them when putting in a PO that the Vendor will offer free shipping if they order more than a specified dollar amount.  I did some looking around and the only thing I see is Shipping terms that may be relevant but when I did some initial testing I didn't really see any information on the PO that would alert the user to add items to get over the threshold.  Maybe I am just missing it though.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am wondering if on the stock item if you couldn't put a pop-up message, with the vendor details on shipping. When the stock number is entered I think it would become visible.  You may have to try it.  With that pop up you could provide details.  Just a thought.  This may not address your issue.

What about a pop up note on the vendor profile? This pop up note would then display each time the vendor is used on a purchase order, alerting the buyer of the free freight threshold.

Following the topic as we have a potential customer who wants to do automated replenishment, but there is a minimum order dollar value and didn't want to create the replenishment order until the threshold was met.

@megan-friesen If you set the Reorder Point to the threshold, wouldn't that trigger it appropriately?

@timrodman The issue that the prospect was looking at was that they might be replenishing multiple items (i.e. 20 of Item A, 30 of Item B, 40 of item C) but the total order value needed to exceed a certain threshold (so not $100 worth of item A, but a total order value of $100).  The Reorder Point is only at the item level, not the vendor level.

Ah, good point. I'm not sure how to incorporate that into replenishment without a customization.
