Anyone in this forum that has any scenarios where different revision ID's are used for a stock KIT item?
It doesn't seem to be possible to get the inventory quantities splitted on the different revisions and doesn't either seem to be possible to select and sell a specific revision of a kit item.
Something I'm missing here, or what is actually the purpose of having differen revision ID's?
I haven't done a lot with Kits, but the functionality is definitely pretty light. What about lot tracking the items and building the Revision ID into the lot number?

Yes, LOT/Serial is a option, but I'm more wondering about why the Revision ID is there in the first place. Maybe it should be hidden if there is no functionality connected to it.
You can use it when you assemble a kit. Just looks like they haven't extended the tracking into inventory yet.
