I have created a generic inquiry to indicate the storage ID for an item and would like to be able to print to a zebra printer to produce a label indicating the product item number, description, warehouse and its storage ID. Does anyone have any resource materials on how to print directly from a generic inquiry?
If you want formatted output you need to use Report Designer, not GI.
This is a good question. Suggest you log an enhancement request. My expectation which is fulfilled in other ERP systems is that printing the results of the GI should be a standard feature.
Not directly from the gi but you could hyper link from the info in the gi to a form that has label printing as pop up window (I used for traceable stock labels)
Hi Lorne,
The Trabea Software Label Printing can do exactly what you are looking for. It uses Generic Inquiry Data Providers as a data source to connect with unlimited label templates where you can use ZPL code to print the labels in the format and quantity desired. It uses Acumatica DeviceHub to feed the label to your ZPL printer.
