I swear I've asked this before, but I cannot get a field to STOP exporting to Excel. The field is in the "reportHeaderSection1".
The group is EXCEL VISIBLE = FALSE
The field is EXCEL VISIBLE = FALSE
And yet... My Excel gets the header info exported into it every time. This exists across two variants of the same report.
Anyone have any ideas on this one? Not the end of the world, but frustrating since this field is large and doesn't "mesh" nicely with the others on export.
I tried running it, but it has a Table and a bunch of Attributes that don't exist in my environment. Which field is causing the problem?
Sorry, it's the only field in the report header, it's just text. The contents are: "Available to Purchase 4RNPORT/DIRECT. Units are in EACHES", just the text there. Report titles aren't super helpful in Excel, but they look nice in the browser. The text has the ExcelVisible = false and the entire group "reportHeaderSection1" has the ExcelVisible flag set to false.
All of that being said, I made changes to the report and now it works. However, I didn't touch the header. I only touched the schema and fields in the data segments. I'm not sure what was going on... Wish I had more info, but the issue no longer exists on my side, so hooray?
Sometimes I wish things would stay broken rather than fix themselves unexplainably 🙂
