Is is possible to write a column set so that it looks at a particular segment of your subaccount and includes/excludes based on the attribute?
For example our subaccounts look like this:
6112-000-000-1: Finance Unrestricted
6112-000-000-2: Finance Temporarily Restricted
The last digit of our subaccount identifies whether there is a restriction or not.
Would it be possible to set up a report so that amounts coded to Finance Unrestricted (6112-000-000-1) show in Column B, while amounts coded to Finance Temporarily Restricted (6112-000-000-2) show in Column C?

You can use wildcards in both the Start Account and Start Sub fields.

Taking a sample P&L, if I use this on a row of a report:
Then I drill down on that row in the report, I see all Subaccounts:
But if I use this on that same row (note the "??D000) wildcard filter in the Start Sub field:
Then I drill down on that row in the report, I see only Subaccounts with a "D" in the third position (IND-000 and WID-000):
